Cambridge Judge alumnus awarded Yenching Academy scholarship

Tom-Louis Flohrer, a 2022 alumnus of the MPhil in Technology Policy programme at Cambridge Judge Business School who is focused on sustainability issues, has been awarded the prestigious Yenching Academy scholarship. Tom-Louis was selected as one of only 102 scholars from thousands of applicants worldwide to join the 2024 cohort at Peking University.

The Yenching Academy is renowned for its interdisciplinary focus on China’s role in the global arena. It aims to cultivate future leaders with a deep understanding of China’s culture, history and contemporary challenges, enabling them to bridge East and West through diplomacy, business, and academic pursuits.

Integrating environmental strategy into business and governance

Tom-Louis plans to draw on the knowledge he gained from this course to develop circularity-inspired solutions to address global climate challenges. His focus on sustainability and innovative policymaking aligns with his vision of integrating environmental strategies into business and governance.
