Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies and J.P. Morgan will be hosting a seminar on the integrated approach to credit ratings in consideration of environmental risks. Can health and safety factors be quantified in financial terms to enhance credit ratings? The seminar will explore whether companies are sufficiently provisioning capital for asset retirement obligations and uninsured accidents. Inferences will be drawn from companies within the mining, industries and power sectors where significant exposure exist to operating costs and natural resource usage.
Facilitated by Professor Danny Ralph, University of Cambridge Judge Business School – Centre for Risk Studies, and Andre Abadie, Global Head of Environmental & Social Risk at J.P. Morgan.
