Asian Banking School

Overview

Asian Banking School (ABS) began operations in 2015 and has continued to set the standard for developing talent in the Malaysian banking industry through its innovative, unique, and relevant training programmes that have transformed the banking education landscape.

In 2017, ABS embarked on a significant collaboration with Judge Business School Executive Education (JBSEEL) which led to a multi-year journey, utilising both the latest Cambridge Judge faculty research and insights to develop banking leaders.

Skills for leading in a global banking landscape

The relationship between ABS and JBSEEL aimed to create high-quality programmes that bring together senior executives from leading banks within its region for a transformative learning experience. The journey began with the Cambridge Summer School, now celebrating its fifth iteration, and proved so successful that ABS and JBSEEL have recently launched the Global HR Leaders Programme.

The senior executives who join these programmes come from various financial institutions, bringing with them a wealth of diverse experiences. Their participation ensures a rich exchange of ideas, making each programme a unique and enriching experience.

From its inception to its latest offerings, ABS’s journey with JBSEEL has been marked by innovation and excellence, continually striving to equip banking professionals with the skills they need to lead in a complex, globalised world.
