Module 2: Balanced scorecards and budgeting
- Summarise elements in performance evaluation systems.
- Describe the steps in the process of designing budgets and setting targets.
- Compare cost control and empowerment.
Module 3: Forecasting and valuation
- Learn how to identify drivers of future profitability and cash flows.
- Work through a discounted cash flow model.
- Assess alternative valuation models.
- Understand the importance of sensitivity and scenario analysis.
Module 4: Valuation project
- Understand how strategic analysis impacts key assumptions in valuation models.
- Apply the concepts from module 3 and produce a financial model and valuation recommendation.
