Cambridge Judge Business School is committed to provide opportunities for talented women to access the benefits of a world-class business education and addressing gender imbalance and to help more women reach influential positions.

The Cambridge Advanced Leadership Programme scholarship has been established to encourage and support ambitious, senior women, who want to be tested, challenged and inspired.

For the programme which takes place from 1-20 June 2025, one place will be open to an exceptional female candidate who is currently in a senior management position within their organisation. Scholars need to be nominated by their organisation and will receive a fully funded place on the 1-20 June 2025 cohort of this leadership programme. Please note the scholarship covers funding towards the programme fees only.

Criteria

Financial need: Applicants must demonstrate a genuine financial need that would prohibit their participation in the programme without a scholarship support.

A seasoned female senior executive who has achieved success against the odds.

You may be a Managing Director, or head of a business unit with at least 5 years’ experience in this position and P&L responsibility. You may be working within a small, medium or large organisation in the public, private or non-profit sector.

You may be a head of corporate function and a contributor to the strategy of the organisation.

You may be an individual who has made a difference, with a distinctive personal leadership journey. You should be outstanding in your area and bring a different viewpoint to the group.

Please note:

  • If the application is successful, the scholarship place is non-transferrable.
  • The scholarship covers full funding of the programme fees.
  • No travel costs are included. The successful applicant will be responsible for making their way to Cambridge to be available for all programme sessions from 1-20 June 2025 (inclusive).
  • The deciding panel will consist of Steven Grundy, the Director of Open Programmes (Interim), Professor Stelios Kavadias, the Academic Programme Director and Jasmin Abdel-Moneim, Business Development Director, Open Programmes.
  • We are unable to give feedback on individual applications.
  • Deadline for application is by Friday 21 February 2025 23:59 (UK time).
  • The successful applicant will be notified by Monday 3 March 2025.

Your application will only be reviewed if it is fully completed by both the applicant and sponsoring executive and you fit the criteria of who should attend the Cambridge Advanced Leadership programme.
