As a member of the Energy Policy Research Group, my research interests include energy economics, technology and innovation, applied econometrics, and agent-based modelling.
Professional experience
Saheed Bello is a Research Associate at the Energy Policy Research Group (EPRG) at the University of Cambridge. He holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, a MSc in Energy Economics and Policy from the University of Surrey, and a PhD in Economics from Loughborough University. His Loughborough-funded doctoral research examined the past determinants and potential future adoption of low-carbon technology.
Earlier in his career, he worked as a Technical Assistant at the Lagos State Ministry of Finance, and as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Petroleum, Energy Economics and Law (CPEEL), Nigeria.
