The idea

Providing therapies and wellbeing activities for children and families.

With a focus on high-quality local food, wellbeing and creativity, the Apricot Centre CIC runs projects, activities and delivers therapies for children, families, schools and communities in East Anglia and South Devon. We specialise in working with children and families in complex life circumstances, from deprived areas, and young people in care or who have been adopted.

Farm-based activities include care farming, forest schools, digging and delving workshops, nature-based creativity activities, permaculture design and organic growing trainings. We also work with schools and other organisations in facilitating collaborative design workshops (based on permaculture) to develops spaces for enhanced wellbeing.

The Apricot Centre Wellbeing Service is registered with the Care Quality Commission and is presently active from various clinic/venues in East Anglia offering assessments, therapeutic packages, child psychiatry and psychology input for children and families.
