Idea

Creative participation has the power to transform individual lives, communities and workplaces.

Cambridge Community Arts (CCA) uses the creative process as a tool to empower individuals by tapping into their own creative resources and improving their mental wellbeing. This results in stronger and more successful people, communities and workforces. We work with talented artists, musicians, producers, directors, actors, film-makers, photographers, poets and storytellers, experienced at delivering creative learning and inspiring others.

CCA was formed in March 2014 to provide high-quality creative learning accessible to all. Our vision is that everyone can achieve their potential if they engage with their inner artist. It is our mission to promote positive change in individuals, communities and workplaces through creative participation.

Our values include placing their learners at the centre of everything we do, providing inspiration and encouragement with a focus on the creative process above the end product. We are proactively socially inclusive with an emphasis on mental health.
